Mechanical Fitter/Welder Birmingham  £30,000 - £35,000 per annum  40 hours per week  Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling pumps using arc and MIG welding techniques. This role requires a hands-on individual who can take initiative and solve problems effectively. Assemble pumps and related equipment. Frame, weld, and assemble pipes as part of daily tasks. Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly and welding process. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Person Specification: Previous experience as a mechanical fitter/welder is essential. Completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant field is highly desirable. Proficiency in arc and MIG welding techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
