Senior Business Development Manager

X4 Technology are offering an exciting opportunity for Senior Business Development Manager to come in and work with a very well backed SaaS start-up offering a maritime-specialized document management solution. Backed by multiple well known shipbrokers and being guided by a prestigious maritime ventures company, we are looking for the 1st sales person to come in and act as the face of the company and initially as an individual contributor but with the expectation that you will build out the sales strategy & team across the UK & Europe. Responsibilities of the Senior Business Development Manager: Work closely with Maritime Ventures team to develop and execute outreach strategies to generate interest, such as email campaigns, cold calls, and attending industry events. Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and social media to generate interest to schedule and conduct meetings to present the SaaS product and understand client needs. Work closely with the CEO and to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Do market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities. As the company grows, assist in recruiting and training new sales team members. Requirements of the Senior Business Development Manager Has 3+ years of experience selling SaaS products in a individual contributor role. Has 3+ years of experience managing a SaaS sales teams. A strategic mindset to build and scales a sales function. Having experience within a startup previously in a sales role. (advantageous) Having experience with a maritime SaaS product previously. (advantageous) This role is coming in as high as £100,000 on the base salary with competitive commission structure and wider benefits.
