Principal Geotechnical Engineer
Advance TRS are excited to be working with an engineering consultancy who have a fantastic track record of working on some of the most exciting projects in the UK!
They are extremely keen to add a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to their team in Birmingham due to increasing workload and to assist the Lead Engineer with managing projects and mentoring engineers.
Senior Engineers will also be considered for this position too and encouraged to apply.

Required experience:
- Degree qualified in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, with ideally with a masters too
- Significant Geotechnical experience gained whilst working for another consultancy on major projects
- Chartership is essential for the Principal grade
- Experience of geotechnical design (earthworks, soil and rock slope, retaining structures, foundations, excavations, basements and ground improvement)
- Experience in using a number of different geotechnical software Plaxis (2D & 3D) , Wallap and Repute
Salary:
- Principal grade: £55,000 - £60,000 + a bonus
- Senior grade: £48,000 - £55,000 + a bonus
