Security Engineer – Financial Services Location: London (Onsite, 5 days a week) Salary: Up to £100k Bonus Benefits An elite macro trading firm in London is seeking a Security Engineer with experience in the financial services sector. This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-caliber team, securing critical systems in a fast-paced trading environment. Responsibilities: Protect and secure the firm’s infrastructure and applications. Identify and mitigate security risks, implementing appropriate safeguards. Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards. Respond to security incidents and manage resolution efforts. Stay up-to-date with the latest security tools and methodologies. Requirements: 2 years of experience in security engineering, ideally within financial services. A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and intrusion prevention systems. Experience with security assessments, audits, and incident management. Knowledge of financial services regulations (GDPR, PCI DSS). CISSP , OSCP , or Security certifications are beneficial. Excellent problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills.
