JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engiener - Cranes, Lifting Equipment, LEEA, Hydraulics

As our Field Service Engineer, you'll be based at home, reporting into the Service Manager. Our head office is in Northampton but a typical day for you would be working on the scheduled maintenance of our industry leading Crane and Gantry solutions at customer sites. You may also react to breakdowns and emergencies when they occur within your allocated area with a minimum of 1 days' notice.

You will:
Service & maintain our Gantry Cranes on customer sites.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure all systems are in optimal working order.
Perform diagnostics checks and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical and controls systems.
Liaise with customers, contractors and head office to ensure you deliver a top-quality service.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engiener - Cranes, Lifting Equipment, LEEA, Hydraulics

Ideally, you're a qualified Service Engineer with a proven track record of maintaining heavy machinery ideally Cranes or Lifting Equipment.

You will demonstrate:
A strong understanding of Mechanical / Hydraulic systems.
The ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Hands-on experience of Motors / gearboxes / contactor control / invertor control
Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
