We are recruiting a Junior Sous Chef for our restaurant Six Clerks. 40 hour week, Monday Friday, lunch service only with the occasional evening event. Package of £35k pa. 20 days paid holiday pa plus Bank holidays. Great opportunities to develop your career with Grayson Restaurants. Main duties: Prepare dishes according to our recipes and standards. Execute cooking techniques with precision, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented attractively. Ensure all mis-en-place is prepared and the kitchen is ready for service. Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes. Adhere to Company food hygiene and safety policies. Assist the Head chef with stock takes & food ordering as required. About You Minimum 2 years restaurant experience. Demonstrable craft skills across all sections of the kitchen. Impeccable attention to detail. Familiar with using fresh seasonal ingredients. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
