Role Overview Control Room Operator Location: Hatfield (AL10) Salary: £23,795 Per Annum + 20% Shift Allowance for hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 18:30 - 03:00 Contract: Permanent What you'll be doing Our Hatfield Sort is looking to recruit experienced Control Room Operator's. If you've previously worked within the logistics environment, or in a similar Control Room environment then this is the ideal role for you. The role of Control Flow Room Operator carries out the day to day Control Room operations ensuring agreed service levels are maintained and the site runs in a cost-effective manner supporting the strategic direction of the wider business. They will work with the Transport and Sort Centre team on a daily basis. You will be overseeing the effective execution of all planned inbound and outbound activity for the sort, liaising effectively with the Sort & Transport teams to hit targeted expectations. You'll communicate any operational issues in a timely manner and work closely with the Managers and Engineers on site to ensure appropriate action is taken. What you need to show us This role would suit a strong communicator who is computer literate looking to work in a fast paced warehouse environment. It isn't a necessity to have experience in this type of role but knowledge of a Transport/ Logistics environment would be beneficial.
