DOVES FARM FOODS Job DESCRIPTION Doves Farm Foods is based on the Wiltshire/Berkshire/Hampshire border, 3 miles South of Hungerford. This pioneering organic brand, established in 1978, produces ranges of Organic, Fairtrade and Free From cereal-based foods. JOB TITLE Production Operative JOB DESCRIPTION To work as part of a team in either the Wheat Mill/Rice Mill/Bakery/Tubbing Room& Filling Hall and Cereal Plant. As directed the operatives take responsibility for the accurate mixing of required blends, the efficient operation of sacking and packing lines, completion of relevant documentation, maintain quality parameters. As well as the correct storage and rotation of all raw materials and finished goods, in accordance with company policies, procedures and GMP. REPORTING TO: Production Shift Supervisor AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY * Accurate tipping and mixing of blend requirements including relevant documentation * Correct and efficient set up and operation of sacking and packing lines * Adjust machinery to ensure maximum output while maintaining quality * Correct stacking of packs and sacks on pallets * Movement of raw materials and stock as required * Assist with warehousing for raw materials, finished goods, packaging and hygiene * Metal check, CCP, weight check and final pack product inspections * Ensure a clean and safe work environment complying with company Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements * Adherence to all H&S risk assessments * Participate in daily tier board meetings * Ensure accurate and full completion of all shift paper work * Assist in production operations as necessary * Deputise for team leader as and when required * Other duties as assigned WORK PATTERN: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 on a four-week rotation
