This full-time, permanent position offers a unique platform to cultivate a love for language and literature in young minds.Position OverviewThe successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging English curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the written word.Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver captivating English lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos. Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English department and across the school to enrich the learning experience. Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and educational best practices. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree or higher in English, English Literature, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level.
