Senior Linux DevOps Engineer

This represents a tremendous opportunity to make a major impact and develop the SRE/DevOps function from scratch. In summary, we are looking for an experienced and talented SRE with solid expertise and experience in Linux platforms and cloud technologies (running Linux on AWS). We are not looking for someone with Linux internals/kernel guru-level expertise, but the candidate must be highly proficient in managing, operating, administering, troubleshooting, permissioning, and configuring Linux platforms. This is not a support role and does not have shifts, but we are looking for an escalation point for serious, complex problems! You will also need the maturity to collaborate and coordinate with other internal technical teams (software engineering, core infrastructure). Contractors/consultants don't excite us. Programming and scripting skills are highly desirable assets, but this is not a role in the software engineering team.
