Systems Tester

Bionical Solutions are seeking a Senior System Tester to join the Quality team within our Digital business unit to lead the testing of software solutions on a variety of projects for clients in the healthcare sector. This will be a full-time permanent role, and a hybrid role with a minimum of 1 day per week in our office at Mercia Marina in Derbyshire, reporting into the Head of Quality Assurance (Digital). Bionical Solutions are at the cutting edge of technology and digital advancements in the healthcare and pharmaceutical market. We pride ourselves on improving patient outcomes, producing the first of its kind software and delivering the highest quality of products to our clients and end users across the globe. You will be leading the manual testing of software applications for client projects, creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts, and executing tests and recording test results and logging defects, for new developments, changes and bugs fixes. You will be collaborating with an insights team and a development team and keeping project management updated on progress. Around client project work you will have a leading role within the Quality team, representing the Quality team as and when necessary, leading the continual improvement of system testing, leading in the use of new and existing software tools, implementing any new and updated procedures, and guiding and supporting other team members. You will have a positive, enthusiastic approach, a passion for software quality and exceptional attention to detail. You will be a good communicator and team player, that is comfortable leading on projects and likes to help and support people around you. You will be flexible, and willing and able to adapt to working with different teams, on a variety of projects, with a variety of applications. You will be educated to degree level, have ISTQB certification to foundation level as a minimum, and an absolute minimum of 5 years’ experience in manually testing web applications, with experience of structured manual testing. You will be familiar with Microsoft Office tools.
