We are a small, independent homewares retailer, primarily located in Cornwall, with a successful, growing e-commerce business in addition to our three brick-and-mortar stores based in the South West, and a recently re-launched wholesale channel. Cream Cornwall was founded in 2012 with the purpose of creating and sharing beautiful things, beautifully made. Our e-commerce business has grown exponentially over the last few years, and we have ambitious business development plans to drive further growth nationally and internationally. As such, we are now looking for an meticulous and forward-thinking e-Commerce Executive to help us manage our e-commerce platform to optimise customer experience and support sales growth. Job Title: E-Commerce Executive Job Summary: We are looking for an analytical and technically experienced E-Commerce Executive to oversee and optimise our e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of and executing strategies to drive online sales growth, enhance digital marketing efforts, and improve our e-commerce performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce platforms. The E-Commerce Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and deliver a seamless online shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities and Duties: As E-Commerce Executive, you will manage our Shopify e-commerce store ensuring day-to-day functionality and championing digital innovation. Your responsibilities will include: Conduct daily website and compliance checks to verify functionality and accuracy of product and other onsite information. Enhance on-site performance by optimising conversion rates, boosting customer engagement, and improving overall site KPIs. Support online sales growth by monitoring key business metrics and providing the wider team with actionable insights on e-commerce performance to support the management team in strategic action planning for sustained growth. Leverage data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen our data and analytical tool stack. Support SEO strategies aimed at increasing customer engagement and driving conversions. Ensure the timely delivery of relevant promotions and content onsite. Manage the digital launch of new products online , ensuring a smooth transition from creation in Shopify to live on the site, whilst ensuring consistency across channels. Conduct competitor analysis to identify new trends and opportunities. Specifications: Essential At least 2 years minimum of proven experience in a similar role. A strong understanding and experience of Klayvio, Shopify, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (Excel) A strong understanding of SEO optimisation and proven experience. Proof of right to work in the UK Minimum of 2 references Desirable Knowledge of using various software programs or a willingness to learn. Eg: google analytics, hotjar, Klayvio Salary and Benefits: We are offering a full-time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We encourage a healthy work-life balance so hybrid remote working and flexible working hours will be considered. Up to £30k salary dependent on experience. 28 days holiday per annum including bank holidays. Company pension. 35% staff discount.
