Audley Group is looking for a driven financial professional to join the senior Finance team, to help drive operational excellence and financial improvement across the Villages as well as supporting the creation of a best in class finance function.

The Role

We seek a talented, qualified and experienced, finance professional to lead/support in the following key joint venture areas, but not limited to:

  • Full accountability for day to day and month end reporting
  • Invoice and maintain parent accounting for all management fees and shared costs
  • Ensure that Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and any risks highlighted to the Financial Accounting Manager
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Prepare statutory accounts and reposting packs and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Bank loan drawdowns and reporting
  • Arrange equity drawdowns
  • Assist forecasts and business plans as agreed with Financial planning
  • Assist on special projects and provides ad hoc reports as needed

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA
  • Adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work under the pressure of month end and year end deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong financial control skills
  • Expertise using Microsoft excel (expected use of pivot tables, Vlookup, graphs etc)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of UK GAAP / IFRS Joint Venture accounting
