Term Time Nursery Manager

A Nursery in Marylebone is looking for an experienced term time Manager with high aspirations and excellent organisational skills to run a small two floor nursery setting in the heart of Marylebone. The Nursery has a maximum capacity of 23 children aged 18 months to 5 years old. This is a full time term time position and you will be required to work 45 hours per week therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following: -Monday to Friday -8am-5pm -41 weeks a year If you meet the following requirements then please apply today: -Minimum Level 3 but Level 5-7 and EYPS/QTS an advantage -At least 2 years experience in a Management role within Early Years -Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one) -Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS -Excellent communication skills both written & spoken -Confident knowledge of the inspection process -Will be an exceptional leader who understands and will enjoy a nursery environment. -Will be highly resilient and comfortable in a leadership role. You will be required to carry out the following duties: * Working in a team supporting & leading the team * Follow Nurseries policies and procedures * Sharing innovative new ideas * Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times * Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis * To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms * To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations * To act as an excellent role model to the staff team being able to showcase high quality practice in all areas * To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery * To work with outside professionals where required * To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families salary £32,500 Start December 2024
