School Receptionist

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our very busy all-boys Liverpool secondary schools who are looking for a Full-Time School Receptionist to start ASAP on an ongoing basis with the opportunity to go perm. The working day is 8am - 4pm, 38 hours per week, at a rate of £13.50 an hour. To be considered for this position, in a busy Liverpool secondary school, you must be confident directing students and dealing with external visitors in addition to answering the phone, sending emails and being a personable individual, creating an excellent and positive impression. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and Reception support to a very busy secondary school. Your role will include: Having experience working in a very busy Reception Being confident, personable and a positive person Managing communications with parents and staff Maintaining accurate records and databases Performing general office tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry Carrying out any other duties as assigned. To be considered for this position you will need: Previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS or Arbor systems. Be a committed professional, who is organised, adaptable, enthusiastic and proactive. Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days' work) Have 2 satisfactory references. Have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
