Service Manager

Service Manager / Workshop Manager / Service Supervisor required to join engineering business based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The successful Service Manager / Workshop Manager / Service Supervisor will oversee and manage the workshop plus a team of fitters/service engineers. We would consider a team / service management background, managing a team of service staff, mechanics or engineers. Full product training provided. This is managing a team of 18 workshop/service staff. Package Up to £45,000 Depending on experience. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Additional company benefits Role Provide leadership to the workshop team.Train, supervise and evaluate pump workshop engineers. Monitoring the daily completion of tasks, ensuring deadlines are hit for services and repairs. Managing a team working on rotating equipment, pumps, fans and motors using equipment such as millers, ballers lays and more. Organising and running the workshop to ensure all activities are run to schedule, whilst maintaining a safe working environment, and continuously improving processes. Managing budgets, forecasts and cost coordination. Working to strict deadlines, ensuring tasks are delegated and maximum efficiency in the workshop. Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to customers requests and enquiries. Liaising with various engineering departments Office based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Requirements Experience as a Workshop Manager, Engineering Manager, Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Pump Engineer, Installation Manager or similar service management role Experience in supervising work or management of engineers A background within wastewater treatment, pumps would be advantageous.
