Role: Senior Finance Analyst – Marketing & Events AgencyPaying circa £55,000 – 60,000 + bonus & benefitsBased in London offering flexible hybrid workingTalentEdge are currently partnering with an incredibly exciting high growth marketing & events agency who are currently looking to recruit a qualified Senior Finance Analyst to join the team during this truly exciting growth period.This is the perfect opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is keen to take the next step in the career in an incredibly hands on role with commercial, operational and strategic responsibilities as well as excellent exposure to senior business stakeholders.Responsibilities Include:Complete month-end management accounts, automate processes, and implement financial controlsWorking with large data sets to extract and identify trends and business growth areasIdentify, report, and analyse key financial data with recommendationsReview daily/weekly performance and present monthly financial performanceProactively identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesSupport business to maximize sales and profitabilityPerform monthly revenue reforecasting using actual dataReconcile systems for accurate revenue and cost informationConduct user testing for accurate financial information across systemsEnsure appropriate accounting and settlement with vendorsReport Partnership KPIs and financial information with support from account managersAssist operational business teams in tracking KPIs and providing recommendationsReview financial performance for accuracy and identify profitability opportunitiesReview quarterly VAT Returns to ensure correct treatment for sales and purchasesExperience Required:Newly /Recently Qualified ACA OR CIMA/ACCAAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to be hands-on whilst also operating as a strategic thinkerA proven business partner with a track record of working with various levels of stakeholderCommercially astute and analyticalExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiastic and self-motivated team player with ability to plan and execute tasks unsupervisedFlexible and able to work to tight deadlines
