Are you a seasoned CFO within the gaming sector with proven experience in fundraising?
A Games Publisher is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in raising funds and taking the business to the next level!

Your new role

1. Financial Leadership: Overseeing all aspects of the finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, and investor relations.
2. Growth Strategy: Partnering with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute strategic financial plans that support our ambitious growth goals in the gaming landscape.
3. Fundraising Prowess: Leading fundraising initiatives to secure capital for strategic investments, acquisitions, and further development.
4. M&A Expertise: Identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities that align with our growth strategy and negotiating favourable deals.
5. Data-Driven Decisions: Championing a data-driven culture, using financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making across the organisation.
6. Building a Winning Team: Leading and mentoring the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Minimum 7 years of experience as a CFO or FD in a high-growth tech, gaming or entertainment company.
2. Industry Savvy: Deep understanding of the gaming industry, its trends, and financial drivers.
3. Fundraising Acumen: Must have experience of securing funding through venture capital, debt financing, or other means and proven relationships within the gaming investment space.
4. M&A Expertise: Prior experience leading or participating in successful M&A transactions.
5. Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
6. Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
7. Strategic Visionary: A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and driving growth in the gaming industry.
