Children Home Registered Manager

Our client is recruiting a Registered Manager to be part of the registration process and help establish and manage their home, ahome for young people aged 8 17 with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH) including those with mild Learning Disabilities (MLD). Our client is looking for a strong leader who can demonstrate successful previous achievements in an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding childrens home. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality of care and support. Your experience will ideally come with the Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent or a full commitment to complete the qualification Duties will include: Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with Ofsted including significant input into recruitment, systems, and policies & procedures Manage and oversee daily operations of the home Provide leadership and supervision to your team Develop and implement high quality care plans and risk assessments to keep our children safe and happy Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements Skills and experience: Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team Excellent organisational skills to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the home Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures Ability to supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed Requirements: Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections Have preferably already obtained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or are committed to achieving the qualification Ideally hold a full UK driving licence Passion and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of young people Resilient and strong communicator Proactive approach with ideas for continual improvements in all areas Benefits: £45k to 65k base salary A career path and development opportunities as the company grows This is a great opportunity for energetic and creative candidates to be part of the creation of the service.
