ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School in Dudley on a full-time basis.About the role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and helping students with day to day challenges and routines. Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff. Work with primary aged children. Full time role to begin ASAP with the possibility to be ongoing for the right SEN Teaching Assistant About the school The school caters for students with a range of special educational needs, including complex, profound, and multiple learning difficulties. The school is focused on providing a safe and nurturing environment. Supportive leadership team, with a positive ethos. Easily accessible from West Bromwich, Birmingham, and Stourbridge. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties and sensory needs. Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential. Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: two years experience supporting young people with special educational needs.
