Are you an experienced hands-on Mechanical Technician from within the manufacturing sector looking for new challenge? If so, we are looking for you.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team to facilitate the electro-mechanical assembly of high value imaging products and systems.
As Mechanical Technician, you’ll be responsible for assembling mechanical components with precision and attention to detail, ensuring each finish product meets our high-quality standards.
This is a full-time position, based in Farnborough, Hampshire and belongs to the Technologies Division Europe & Asia reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Technician responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assembly of nuclear and high temperature imaging cameras with the aid of the company procedures and drawings.
- Collaborative team working to meet or exceed product-manufacturing timescales.
- To meet company deadlines.
- Liaise with Production supervisor and key stakeholders to record and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Manufacture products in accordance with planned times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of a time served apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and assembly.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced at interpreting complex engineering drawings and ability to assemble from these drawings and raise questions if details are missing
- Competent use of Pillar Drill, Lathe, Milling and Grinding machinery.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- PC literate and confident user of MRP system and drawing viewer.
