An opportunity has become available to join the Aramark UK team as a General Manager on site at the Perth College, PH1 2NX. This is a full time and permanent role which will be Monday to Friday and is responsible for developing and executing strategy, advocating for your client, encouraging dedication, driving engagement, and delivering positive financial results.Reporting to our Regional Director of Operations, you will own the operations of food service which includes breakfast and lunches for both staff and students, in addition to managing our busy hospitality offering.What’s in it for you:We are offering a salary of £40,000Company pensionDiscounted foodMyStaff Shop discountsGenerous Annual Leave, increasing in line with serviceEAP in house mental health championFull training and fantastic development opportunitiesJob ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for the day to day management of the sites and the respective teamsAdhere to set annual budgets for sites and achieve themMaintain financial information system as required by Aramark and the clientSupport with menu planning and stock managementImplement and maintain appropriate procedures on site as outlined by HR, Q&S, Internal AuditsAssume overall responsibility for Quality and Safety compliance on sitesMonitor and evaluate site performance and productivityMaintain good communications and working relationships with your client, key customers and all staffConsistently and proactively review financial and operational performance of contracts to ensure the achievement of all business and financial targetsIdentify opportunities at site level and investigate potentialManage recruitment, training and development of management team on site and to provide regular feedback on performanceAttend operations/management meetings as requiredKey RequirementsExperience operating as a General Manager in a contract catering/ hospitality environmentAbility to lead a team to success and drive standardsExperience managing a P&L and associated financesAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
