Job Title: Teacher of Mathematics Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £811.50 - £1,118.12 per week About Us: Help Educate is working closely with a partner secondary school in Royal Tunbridge Wells committed to providing high-quality education for all students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Temporary Full-Time Maths Teacher to join their team and inspire students in their mathematical journey. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of secondary school students. * Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters students' confidence and independence in maths. * Collaborate with parents, support staff, and other teachers to provide holistic support for students. * Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to facilitate effective learning outcomes. * Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development. * Participate in the school’s professional development programs and contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos. Qualifications and Skills: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting. * Strong understanding of teaching strategies and approaches for supporting secondary school students in maths. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents. * A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude towards working with secondary school children.
