Site/Plant Operator - Anaerobic Digestion

Astute's Renewables team is proud to partner with a well-established business within the Anaerobic Digestion and Agricultural sector. They are looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to join them at their site in the Scunthorpe area. The Site/Plant Operator will be working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern and be part of an on-call rota once trained. The Site/Plant Operator role comes with a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, impressive production bonus and excellent company benefits package. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Carrying out day to day operations of the renewable energy process plant Using SCADA control systems to monitor the process (training provided) Carrying out general maintenance task such as changing and isolating a pump, greasing, oil and filter changes Supporting the biologist with carrying out analysis checks (training provided) Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as telehandlers Responding to machine and systems failures Ensuring adherence with health & safety at all times Being part of an on-call rota (once trained) Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: A relevant Engineering qualification/certificate would be an advantage but not essential. Telehandler or other plant tickets such as loading shovel, tractor ect, but not essential Full UK driving Licence Personal skills The Site/Plant Operator role would suit someone who has: Experience working in a similar outdoor environment Some basic first line maintenance experience Has a genuine interest in working in the renewable energy sector Has a good work ethic and has a desire to work as part of a supportive team Salary and benefits of the Site/Plant Operator role: Up to £30,000 starting salary (depending on experience) Excellent production bonus Use of work vehicle when on call out rota Company mobile phone Training providedINDREN Astute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
