UX Researcher (6-month Fixed-term contract)

We are partnered with a small digital product studio who focus on long-term partnerships and insight-led innovation for their trusted clients. As their team continues to expand, they are hiring a UX Researcher on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.The companyThe studio have been established for over 10 years, but culturally have maintained the essence of a small(ish) and growing business. They have never viewed themselves as delivery partners for their clients, and instead have established themselves as a genuine extension of their clients in-house team, with the focus of doing three things incredibly well.Build a deep understanding of their clients objectives.Deliver real, valuable insights on how to get there from a product perspective.Design exceptional experiencesThe role of the ResearcherYou will be joining a small team of designers, strategists and engineers and will be the 'go to' person for all research requirements; both short-term (tactical) and longer-term (strategic). Specifically, you can expect to:Identify and prioritise impactful research opportunitiesWrite participant briefs and research plansDeploy a wide variety of research methods based on the needs of specific projectsHelp deepen and further build their process and toolkit for UX ResearchYour experienceThe ideal profile for this hire is likely to demonstrate three core things when it comes to past experience, but above all they're looking to work with smart, nice, reliable people.Experience working within agency/studio environments (You must have this experience)Have owned research projects previously / are happy working autonomouslyHave a broad mix of qualitative and quantitative research skillsThe practical bits
