The Bowling Green Hotel is situated within the popular Chorlton Green area of Chorlton-cum-hardy, south Manchester. We are an independent, family run business, with no ties to a chain. this enables us to create our menus in-house, allowing creativity and the ability to change menus seasonally. We currently serve traditional pub fare, and average around 8k a week. a typical day in the kitchen starts at 11am and finishes at 8.30pm, with no late nights or early mornings. we are looking for a motivated individual to lead our small team of chefs. your role will be to make all aspects of the kitchen run smoothly, motivate your team to ensure the highest standards of food and cleanliness are met, make sure health and hygiene regulations are adhered to and paperwork kept up to date, perform stocktakes and keep track of wastage, help create new menus that entice new customers and boost profits, take charge of ordering and deliveries. your salary will reflect your ability and experience, ranging from £32,000 to £40,000 per annum, with an additional bonus scheme to be discussed once hired. we are looking for an individual to help us elevate the kitchen and that's looking for a long term home with us.
