Shunter Driver

Pilgrim's Europe are currently recruiting for Shunter Drivers for our site in Dungannon.

Job Title: Shunter Driver

Working Hours: we have 2 shifts available - rotating shift pattern (6am-6pm) and evening shift (6pm-2:15am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Storing of records/documents coming from farms with each load.
• To maintain the flow of trailers within the Dungannon Factory to ensure the continuity of killing process.
• To carry out regular forklift duties in case of line breakdowns.
• Report all breakdowns immediately to your manager on shift or directly to maintenance.
• Ensure all full/empty trailers are being weighed in/out at all times.
• Take reasonable care the Health and Safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your actions.
• Work in a safe manner and observe the Company Health and Safety Rules and Procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• Evidence of ability to read and understand English.
• Evidence of numeracy and literacy.
• Good manual dexterity essential.
• Evidence of being able to work unsupervised
• Evidence of being a team member essential.
• Driving licence is essential
