Controls Engineer

One of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with a century's worth of industry experience are currently on the lookout for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their team, working on a variety of automation projects for our blue chip clients in industries such as Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage. Control Systems Engineer To £50K + Benefits (Depending on experience) Opportunity to work on major UK Control & Automation projects   Grangemouth Ref: 23696 Controls Engineer - The Role: Work on control system projects either independently or as part of a team Handle the entire lifecycle of the project, from design documentation to commissioning and handover Develop Functional Design Specification and PLC, HMI, SCADA software Coordinate with SI and LV engineering delivery teams and client stakeholders Act as a lead on small projects, working closely with the Project Manager to meet project milestones Controls Engineer - The Person: Have a minimum of 3 years systems engineering experience Have strong knowledge of safe working practices with regards to work on or near electrical equipment Have good organisational and communication skills Be positive, approachable, willing, helpful and a good team player Have experience in PLC and HMI software development using devices from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Schneider Hold a full UK driving licence Working for a company who are more than just a leading engineering firm.
