IT Support Officer Permanent Opportunity - £27,000 - This is on a pay scale with 5 increments on a yearly basis Birmingham & Sandwell - Field Based Driving Licence & Car is preferred and travel expenses are paid on top of salary. Infinite Talent currently have an opportunity working with a leading IT Services Business within the Educational Sector. We are looking for an IT Support officer, who will be required to attend schools within the Sandwell & Birmingham area and assist with 1st and some 2nd Line IT Support : Key Responsibilitie s:Technical Suppor t: Provide comprehensive support for educational applications, cloud technologies, and network infrastructure, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and proactive maintenanc e.System Managemen t: Manage the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of network infrastructure and a range of applications, ensuring systems are updated and functioning optimally. Maintain all technical documentation relating to a customer sit e.Service Suppor t: Act as a point of reference for service desk colleagues, maintaining open communication with clients throughout the incident resolution proces s. Requiremen ts:Technical Experti se: Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and management, including Entra ID and Intu ne.An understanding of Microsoft server technologies such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, iSCSi, WDS, MDT, Print Manageme nt.Minimum 2 years’ experience of installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows based operating systems. Experience of networking computers. Working experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Setup and deployment of Active Directory Networks.
