VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Major Food Processor in Duncrue Belfast with the Recruitment of a Production Manager to join their dynamic and growing team. Hours - 09:00-17:00 with the requirement of some flexibility based on business need. Salary - £55,000 (Negotiable) + Fantastic Market Leading Benefits Package Responsibilities: To take responsibility for the day to day running of all aspects of production and improve performance and efficiency in line with current food health and safety and environmental legislation; Maintain and improve site quality standards, SOP's, internal site audits etc in line with HACCP and legal requirements; Take responsibility for the stock control system; Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements; Prepare written reports and report them to the Management Board on a monthly basis; Review all operational costs and budgets within your remit to minimise wastage; Effective people management to ensure the smooth running of the Production function. Essential Criteria: Have 3 years' previous management / operations experience in a manufacturing environment; The ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; Experience of overseeing the in Intake and/or Despatch function, preferably in a manufacturing environment; Hold a 3rd Level Qualification in Business, Operation Management or similar; Previous experience of BRC audits; Experience managing supervisors and operational staff; The ability to control costs, and apply to budget For more information on this or any other role in the Area, please contact Phil Doherty for a confidential chat on .
