Job Advertisement: Multi-Skilled Engineer (E.R) Location: 30 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AG Contract: 9 months (potential for extension or permanent placement) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour break) Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour Start Date: 11th November 2024 End Date: 10th August 2025 We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance to join our team on-site. The role involves performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of electrical installations, mechanical systems, and building assets in a commercial environment. Key Responsibilities: Execute PPM routines and respond to reactive repair needs for electrical, mechanical, and building systems. Perform electrical repairs, testing, and installations, along with plumbing system maintenance, lighting repairs, bulb replacement, and general building fabric maintenance. Support water management, HVAC system upkeep, and Building Management System (BMS) operations (BMS experience desirable). Manage sub-contractors and provide access for inspections, supporting insurance and compliance requirements. Collaborate closely with the Compliance Team Leader and attend weekly team meetings. Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards and complete modular e-learning.Requirements: Skills: Basic plumbing, HVAC knowledge, BMS experience (preferred), and a commercial maintenance background. Experience: Proven experience in a commercial setting, handling both reactive and PPM tasks.
