Our client, a leader in the defence sector, is urgently seeking an FP&A professional for a contract role to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the FP&A Director with the preparation of reports and conducting detailed analysis for key stakeholders, with a strong focus on data accuracy and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Support the FP&A Director on monthly reporting and analysis of key metrics, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all deliverables Implement improved functionality to existing budget and forecast Excel models Assist with quarterly OneStream upload Drive continuous improvement of the finance function from a process, operational, and systems perspective Provide ad hoc analysis and project support as required, supporting the broader finance transformation Job Requirements: Experience in financial planning and analysis within the defence sector Strong finance skills, including expertise in budgeting and forecasting Proficiency with Excel and OneStream for financial reporting Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance data accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment If you are a dedicated FP&A professional looking for a challenging contract opportunity within the defence sector, we would love to hear from you.
