The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for a Weighbridge Operator to join our production team at our plant in Torrs, Shepton Mallet.

The primary role of the weighbridge operative is to greet customers (both internal and external drivers) and accurately record weight data using a Windows based computer system as vehicles deliver or collect materials to and from the site.

This is a front line role where customer service is of paramount importance. You will be a key member of a small team. The role will require you to be hands on as well, learning plant operations.

What will you bring?

  • Experienced in working in an office environment.
  • Confident when working and dealing with people.
  • Self-motivated, with initiative and proactive approach.
  • Competent using a workplace PC, with google applications.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others.
  • Previous experience operating a Weighbridge is desirable.
  • Detail and results orientated with strong personal values to succeed.
  • Highly organized with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities.
