Teaching Assistant, Blackburn Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm Pay £90 -£117.89 An Alternative Provision within Blackburn are seeking a dynamic and passionate SEMH experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new 2024/25 academic year. The school require a teaching assistant to support within a nurture class. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in an alternative provision or PRU setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, patience and an ability to strike up rapport and develop relationships with SEMH pupils. Pupils arrive at the school having struggled to access learning in their previous school/s, and clear routines and therapies are implemented in school to help re-engage students with the education system. The personal relationships developed with pupils ensure that each one achieves their potential both academically and personally.
