Religious studies teacher - ASAP start - Temp to Perm Prospero teaching are seeking to appoint a passionate Religious Studies Teacher part time basis (0.8) to join a team at a secondary school in Salford. The role will start as soon as possible and will be part time for the rest of the academic year and will then become permanent. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Studies and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. You will be required to attend departmental meetings, deliver lessons that engage the students and stretch them academically. Mark work and provide regular feedback and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise. The ideal candidate: Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Studies GCSE exams Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.
