Religious studies teacher - ASAP start - Temp to Perm Prospero teaching are seeking to appoint a passionate Religious Studies Teacher part time basis (0.8) to join a team at a secondary school in Salford. The role will start as soon as possible and will be part time for the rest of the academic year and will then become permanent. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Studies and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. You will be required to attend departmental meetings, deliver lessons that engage the students and stretch them academically. Mark work and provide regular feedback and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise. The ideal candidate: Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Studies GCSE exams Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Salford Religious Studies Teacher Part time ASAP start Temp to Perm Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day 11:30am - 6pm Monday to Thursday TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide a minimum of two professional teaching related references up to date safe guarding training (essential, training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training (essential, training can be provided) If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
