We are looking to hire a Business Developer, responsible for unlocking andgrowing our portfolios through sales development, relationship building,engagement activities and great customershipper experience. The successfulcandidate will analyze market data to identify trendsopportunities, utilizean extensive network of relationships within the relevant industry to gathermarket intelligence, and execute on business development opportunities. This role sits within the Business Development team, part of Amazon FreightCommercial team. Focusing on new customer acquisition in the European market,the New Business Developer is expected to attract new businesses, tailor ourproduct to customers needs and close business deals with the needle-movingshippers for Amazon Freight. Alongside you’ll be responsible for developing our strategic portfoliosthrough relationship building, engagement activities and ensuring a greatcustomer experience. This individual will facilitate market data to identifytrendsopportunities, utilize an extensive network of relationships with therelevant industry to gather market intelligence, and execute on businessdevelopment opportunities. The successful candidate will be results driven,highly analytical, customer obsessed, and ready to roll up the sleeves to growthis business. Key job responsibilities - Acquire, engage and accelerate high potential shippers to Amazon Freight. - Maintain a high level of engagement from potential customers andproactively identify the challenges they are facing. - Build relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio. - Be the voice of the customer to guide product development and iterations. - Identify and lead complex projects or initiatives to solve customer painpoints and improve experience by collaborating with internal stakeholdersglobally across the EU. - Communicating ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all typesof audiences and not limited to writing narratives, business cases and otherstrategic documentation. This is aninnovative technology-driven solution for the logistics needs of small andlarge businesses and is scaling rapidly as an offering. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree or equivalent - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliancesmanagement - Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Masters degree or equivalent - Relevant experience working in supply chain, freight industries orconsultancy - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders,including your peers and leadership - Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influencebusiness decisions - Other EU languages Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
