Force Lead for Criminal Justice

As the Force Lead for Criminal Justice youll provide the strategic leadership of the Leicestershire custody and prosecutions portfolio.

Salary: £69,840 - £77,751

Youll set the direction for criminal justice for Leicestershire, taking responsibility to ensure an excellent quality service in line with the Police Code of Ethics, the Leicestershire Police Pledge and Our Duty.

As the Force Lead for Criminal Justice, you will have the opportunity to develop departmental plans, maximising funding opportunities and improving the overall performance of criminal justice.

What youll be doing

• Take overall leadership of custody and prosecutions resources
• Working closely with IT and Information Security to ensure prosecutions and custody are using the best advancements in technology and optimising security
• Oversee the creation and content of custody and prosecutions policies and procedures

Must Haves

• Experience at senior management and leadership within the criminal justice arena, building and influencing strategic partnerships
• Experience of developing and implementing business strategies and process
• Set the direction for multi-dimensional teams with complex demands
