HVAC & Refrigeration Technician

Nexos are seeking an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Technician on a staff basis. This position will be working on site in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will get opportunities to work offshore and overseas after relevant training is achieved. The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration equipment onshore on supply vessels, commercial buildings and in the hospitality sector. Your key responsibilities will include: Faulting finding and repair of ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment/pipework. Installation of ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment/pipework. Commissioning and servicing equipment. Understanding electrical drawings, P&ID drawings, flow diagram, and general arrangement drawings. Ensuring high standards of communication are maintained, both internally and with end clients. Excellent customer service and client liaison skills. Providing reports in a timely manner (basic Microsoft skills required for usage of service engineer tablets), ensuring that records are completed and comprehensive. To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate: Previous experience within the HVAC & refrigeration field. City & Guilds F-Gas 2079. SVQ Level 2 & 3 qualification in HVAC & Refrigeration. Valid BOSIET, MIST, OGUK medical preferred but not compulsory. Ability to work on own initiative. Full UK driving licence (service van included with the contract offer).
