FLT Counterbalance Driver

We are looking for FLT Drivers with Counterbalance to work for our Client based in Hamilton, Leicester. They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet. The FLT Driver with Counterbalance role is a temp to perm role. Pay for the FLT Driver temp to perm

• £11.59 per hour

Hours / Shifts:

• 9am to 5.30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check regularly the materials and parent reels stock and incoming orders to organise their movement flow
• Guarantee the execution of non-conformity resolution
• Record goods receipts for parent reels on the system and label them if required
• Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
• Carry out a visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
• Run quality checks of all incoming goods
• Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct area
• Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
• Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations

Additional Requirements:

• Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
• Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
• Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
• Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
• Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
• Ensure a high level of housekeeping in the working area is maintained throughout the shift
• To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
