Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – East London Location: East London Job Type: Temporary/Contract Working Days/Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (08:00 - 18:00) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a strong background in Primary Care to join our team in East London. The successful candidate will cover shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 08:00 to 18:00. This role requires proficiency in EMIS Web and involves performing a variety of HCA duties to support patient care in a busy primary care setting. Key Responsibilities: Phlebotomy Vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.) Assisting with minor procedures Wound care and dressing changes Supporting the nursing and medical staff with patient care Administering basic treatments as directed by healthcare professionals Ensuring patient records are accurately maintained on EMIS Web Providing compassionate care and support to patients Requirements: Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a Primary Care setting Proficiency in using EMIS Web is essential Phlebotomy skills are mandatory Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and reliability Right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
