Baseline Coordinator

We are looking for a Baseline Coordinator to join our Christchurch, Dorset team! As a Baseline Coordinator, you will be responsible to coordinate with customer facing team to define needs and validation of material costing, including the creation and presentation of relevant documentation for reviews. Develop strategies and implement solutions for most efficient costing/pricing models with an eye to repeatability, considering market factors and eventual risk & reward of offered pricing/terms. Manage and capture costing for any 3rd party items that may be required. Coordinate with customer facing team to define needs and validation of material costing, including the creation and presentation of relevant documentation for reviews. Develop strategies and implement solutions for most efficient costing/pricing models with an eye to repeatability, considering market factors and eventual risk & reward of offered pricing/terms. Support/Lead targeted costing and pricing models/analysis/closed loop analysis (post award actuals compared to bid values) and provide lessons learned and recommendations to the applicable business units. Support the development of process and procedure improvement, taking the lead when needed. Ongoing/timely support to various stakeholders (BU Directors and Managers) as required. What You Bring Must have superior Excel/Word and PowerPoint skills. Be commercially aware with significant customer facing experience Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as part of a team, ability to work with cross-functional teams, to follow procedures and use system tools. A self-starter, able to work independently and manage concurrent multiple tasks with dynamic priorities. Demonstrated ability and resourcefulness in solving often ambiguous problems with little supervision. Experience with cost/revenue analysis and audits is considered an asset. Excellent analytical skills to collect data, understand significance and explain issues; able to take initiatives and recommend solutions / process improvements. Good ability to work with integrated ERP systems, preferably SyteLine and / or SAP. Ability to present and defend costing / pricing recommendations to senior leadership. Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm for continuous improvement. A post-secondary diploma/degree from a college or university in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Experience in product cost development and cost analysis.
