Eden Recruitment Solutions T/A Just Temps are currently seeking a Transport Coordinator for our client based in Halstead, Essex Job Title: Transport Coordinator Location: Near Halstead, Essex Hourly Rate: £13 - £14 per hour (via agency, temp) Contract: Temporary, until February/March 2024 Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in logistics and transport coordination? We're seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis via an agency until February/March 2024. Key Responsibilities: Coordinating transport operations to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries. Scheduling and monitoring deliveries, ensuring timelines are adhered to. Liaising with drivers, clients, and internal teams to resolve any transport-related issues. Maintaining accurate records and logs of all transport activities. Handling telephone queries and issues related to transport logistics, including cover on a Friday afternoon. Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 Friday: 08:30 - 14:30 (with telephone cover required until 16:00 via a Rota basis. Time in lieu is given back for this). Requirements: Previous experience in a transport/logistics coordinator role or similar. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems is an advantage. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13 - £14 per hour and is based near Halstead, Essex.
