Join us in this exceptional role and play a key role in Biosynth’s future, leading a team to success and contributing to the growth of a dynamic business Key Responsibilities Full Profit and Loss responsibility for the Complex Chemicals business as well as the synthetic chemistry Business Development The primary driver of the CC business growth and vision; overseeing the development and management of the product’s roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision Lead, co-ordinate and ensure effective delivery of a portfolio of new products within the business line Provide expert advice to colleagues, clients and partners on research and development matters Manage and ensure the successful completion of all projects to the highest standards Build strategic relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring that they are appropriately engaged with; to ensure that Biosynth achieves the best possible product or service from them Lead and participate as a member of cross functional teams to ensure that organisational quality standards, targets and missions are achieved Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards at all times Play an active part in the continuous improvement of PL and accurate budgeting for Complex chemical business Support the development of key performance indicators for all the CC business and provide comprehensive monthly reports to SMT and board as required Present research findings and ideas about complex subjects to a wide range of audiences to share learning Provide the professional lead across the organisation on research governance to ensure excellent research practice is undertaken and Biosynth’ reputation for research is enhanced. Your Profile PHD qualification or equivalent knowledge or experience in a relevant discipline (Chemistry qualifications required, Organic Chemistry preferred) Extensive experience of acquiring , building and growing a business Understanding of CDMO business , DP and Bio business . Full PL responsibility of a Chemical or relatable business Significant background of research experience in product management product road mapping Significant proven experience in research and evaluation management, including major project dev. management Works collaboratively corporately and departmentally to align plans across teams and create a strong team spirit Leadership and management skills including people, performance and budget management Identifies business critical priorities, risks, and opportunities Demonstrates high degree of autonomy and decision making and uses judgement to balance complex and sometimes competing demands of a diverse and high profile project portfolio Collaborate with other product departmental heads in the performance of their intertwining duties. Established leadership skills with an ability to lead the team & peers to follow a common vision.
