Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation in East Midlands which is looking to recruit a Communications & Engagement Manager (EPR) on an interim basis for a 12-month FTC. About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Engagement Manager to lead communication efforts for a ground-breaking Electronic Patient Record (EPR) project across East Midlands hospitals. This role is pivotal in driving engagement across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring staff, patients, and the public are well-informed about the EPR's benefits and advancements. As a key team member, you will develop and execute multi-channel communication strategies, oversee branding, and lead on engagement initiatives to bring this NHS-led transformation to life. About You We are seeking a communications professional with experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications planning. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a background in public or healthcare sectors, and the ability to translate complex information into accessible, impactful messaging. Your expertise will guide the EPR rollout, supporting user-centered design and engagement at every stage. Qualifications and Training: Degree level education or equivalent experience Committed to continuous professional development Membership of a professional body Evidence of leadership development Experience: Skilled in multi-channel campaign design and internal communications Strong account management and stakeholder engagement Proficient in CMS, event management, engagement methods, and risk management Knowledgeable about public sector challenges, particularly within the NHS Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and project management abilities Expertise in evolving communication techniques and 'plain English' translation Proficient in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, and content management systems Additional Requirements: Team player with a proactive approach and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion Ability to travel to various locations as needed If the role feels of potential interest, please apply with an up-to-date CV for immediate consideration.
