We're currently seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our Aftercare team for up to 12 months, covering a period of maternity leave. If you have strong IT and organisational skills, this could be a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality housing.
As a Coordinator in our Aftercare team, you will be responsible for assisting with the post-completion phase of our new build properties, including affordable rent and shared ownership homes. A key aspect of the role involves working closely with our Developers to manage outstanding defects and ensure all works are completed.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor and manage email boxes, ensuring queries are directed to the relevant person.
  • Oversee our Housing database (CX) for Aftercare and allocate tasks accordingly
  • Track emergency defects, follow up on outstanding issues and ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with external partners to confirm all end-of-defect works are finalised.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including raising work orders and purchase orders.

This role is being offered on a full time,fixed termbasis covering a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months. You can be based either in our Exeter or Weston office. For the first few weeks of your induction, you will need to come to our Exeter office, one day per week, and hybrid working style is offered with 2 days per week in the office.
Interviews for this role will be 2-stage with a short virtual interview W/C 21 October followed by a face to face second interview in our Exeter office on Thursday 31 October.

About The Candidate
To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the Level 1 requirements (please see our candidate information pack), as well as bring the following:
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with MS Office (Excel) and bespoke databases.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Familiarity with the new home buying and defects process, either through personal or professional experience.
