Field Service Technician
London Region
Mon – Fri 7am – 3.30pm
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our Engineering Service Support Team. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer capable of delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance
* Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
* Manage service rotations and callouts
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Support innovation and process improvements
* Maintain effective communication with engineering personnel and clients
Requirements:
* City and Guilds or equivalent recognized apprenticeship
* Extensive experience in industrial engineering (parcel handling, manufacturing)
* Knowledge of inverter drives, SCADA control, PLC systems
* Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
* Willingness to travel within the UK
* PC literacy and strong interpersonal skills
