Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist 18-month initial contract Hybrid working - Whitley, Coventry £31ph / £248pd (Inside IR35) *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Whitley, seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team Job Description As Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist, your main responsibilities include: Support the warehouse location selection & validate operational design, in accordance with business standards and legal requirements Investment budget appraisal, validation and placement, to enable business requirement Oversee/manage 'fitout' completion, ready to receive product Onboard 3PL, with processes in place and training complete, to required levels Develop clear and robust operational readiness criteria, with clear governance and stakeholder management in place Qualifications / Skills needed Understanding vehicle technologies / EV & Li-Ion knowledge Automotive business experience, particularly in parts supply chain Background and experience in Supply Chain Management, with proven experience in logistics operations setup and implementations Able to forge excellent cross-functional relationships and communicate succinctly, across a number of functions and partners Excellent project management skills Experience in working with cross-functional teams, in a matrix organization A passion for moving tasks forward, as well as taking full ownership of projects/issues Why work through Contechs?
