Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Professional, with strong analytical and finance business partnering experience, to join a Private Equity backed, Leading Wholesale Building Material business as a Finance Manager. Paying £70k and based in Basildon (4 days a week in the office), this position will involve business partnering with the Managing Director as well as the Commercial Director and a large amount of the work you will be asked to do will be analysis for the parent, Private Equity Group. The Role As part of a larger group, this individual will be responsible for regularly reporting a variety of information, including forecasts, budgets, and quarterly trading positions, in alignment with the group's requirements. Business Partnering- The Managing Director and Commercial Director are seeking a financially savvy partner to collaborate with them in shaping the business. This individual should be comfortable engaging with all levels of the organisation, from operational teams to C-suite executives, and possess a strong understanding of managing senior stakeholders. This role involves overseeing the daily financial operations, which is a smaller aspect due to the straightforward nature of the business and the consistent team in place. Commercial Insight- The business operates across various markets with diverse products. The individual will need to develop a solid understanding of the commercial landscape and generate tailored insights that support decision-making and stimulate critical thinking within the organisation. Your Profile Extensive Finance Business Partnering and Commercial finance experience is essential. Strong analytical skills and advanced excel skills are essential. Prior experience within a subsidiary where management reporting and analysis to the parent company is advantageous but not a prerequisite. The Company The company are a Leading Wholesale Building Material business who are a subsidiary of a Private Equity group, headquartered in the U.S. The business is a leader within the Underfloor heating industry and have been operating for over 15 years.
