Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing targeted support to students across various subjects. Individualised Learning: Work closely with students who require additional help, offering one-on-one support and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies and fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students. Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and efficiently. Student Welfare: Support the social and emotional well-being of students, acting as a mentor and providing guidance as needed Contract Details Location Greenwich, South East London Position Secondary Teaching Assistant Contract or position start date ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) Temp to Perm Full time/part time Full time Minimum rate of pay £100 - £110 per day Hours Monday Friday 08:30am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Level 2 or 3 Qualification Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent. Previous experience working in a UK school. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).
