Platform Engineer - £75K - FinTech Our client is a growing Financial Technology (FinTech) company - They build innovative software for risk management, investment analytics and even trading market data. They’re growing their Operations and Support team and are looking to engineers to join them. In a varied role you’ll be involved in application and platform support across the business, monitoring automation, SQL scripting and database development, application and code (Java, Python etc) support and improvements and even infrastructure engineering and support and the building out of DevOps methods, the Azure cloud solution and automation tools. Requirements: Experience in a similar Platform / Application Support / Support Engineering position Experience of supporting complex applications and SaaS systems Good Infrastructure (Linux, Windows, networking) understanding Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Great SQL and data knowledge Experience of monitoring and automation is ideal Azure Cloud, DevOps and automation skills – Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible etc
